How to Sign up for MATH171 on the Stats Portal
To sign up for MATH 171 on the Stats Portal, you should:
1.) Point your browser to http://courses.bfwpub.com/bps4e.php . If you are a Mac user, then you will need to use Firefox.
2.) Click on the link "REGISTER AN ACTIVATION CODE."3.) You will be prompted to follow the on-screen instructions to find your course. Start by selecting the school's state/province, the school name, then the instructor (Lunsford), then the course (MATH 171 - Statistical Decision Making - Spring 2009).
4.) Enter the activation code that came with the textbook that you purchased. You will also be asked to enter your email address and choose a password. Please give your full name as it would appear on my roll. Now you are ready to go!
5.) If you do not have an activation code you can also purchase access on the website by clicking on the “Purchase” link. However, if you want to have a hard copy of the textbook then the least expensive option is to purchase the textbook bundled with the activation code.
